Default LOnger Cables and Izumo chains +tyres for France?

HI,

Where can I get some longer cables made up to that I can fit higher rise renthals to my K1N?

Also saw an izumi gold chain and sprocket kit for £90 inc pp. Any good?

I'll need new tyres before I go to France in august - what do you recommend for touring that is!

Thanks,
John

Not 100% sure but can't you use the origonal cables if you have the naked.

Metzeler Z6s - the harder centre compund means they won't wear too quick on autoroutes, and the soft sides will be more than enough through the twisties.

I have toured two up on my SV1000 with them, and they were great - I would also have no worries doing a trackday with them if I had to

I would have gone ahead and tried that if I hadn't heard guys on the org say that the cables would be too tight at full lock. The brake pipe definitely needs to be longer. The electrics I would hope to reroute if I had too but the throttle and choke cables apparently need to be longer.
