Default Normal Sevice has been Resumed - Soulkiss Down.

Heading to work, filtering past some near stationary traffic.

The traffic is split across a junction - + junction with no right turn, so I check for indicators (even though its no right turn, I am paranoid about that kind of thing).

Then as I am alongside the last car before the gap, the driver decided to make the right turn, not only not seeing the "no right turn" sign, but also me.

So, the SV is once again on the road on its side.

So then began the adventure of a Paramedic car, an Ambulance and Two Police cars.

Damage - badly scuffed front rim, cracked fairing, buckled sub-frame, broken mirror, both front indies hanging off, scuffed Bagster tank cover, probably dented tank (haven't looked under the cover), broken right foot rest, bent gear lever, bent crash-bung, scraped can and scratched rear fairing on the right side.

So, looks like its a write-off, again.

I had been looking forwards to taking it to TOGMIE, but looks like it will be the Zed, which fortunatly I had MOT'd at the weekend

Not planning on showing up until Sat, another night in my own bed sounds like a plan, and I figure I will be too sore for the rideout anyway.

The butchers bill is a banged up left arm (from shoulder to finger-tips) especially bad at the top where I used my arm to remove his mirror... Right hand is achey, as is my right knee and my left thigh started to ache about mid-afternoon.

Aw crap SK. Was just thinking today about the benefits/ risks of commuting into the City on a motorbike.
I think I'll stick with the train now. Unlucky mate.
Beer on me in The Master Gunner when you limp back into work.

Thanks folks, I bounced, off to A&E to get checked over again, I dont think there is anything serious but I have more aches than I had, especially in my hands, so another check over would be good.

Nah, bike is good, I just did what I could with the indies and just out my heel on the peg mount and got into work, cursing the lack of a mirror, I then came home via Leicester Square to meet up with my sister who is in town for the weekend, then came home as usual.

Nope, but the suual process is for the details to go to a central traffic unit who will investigate/asses the details and follow up from there.

Aww mate, what a ballache Sorry to hear this but very glad you're walking away from it. I guess filtering in that London is bound to increase those odds of being knocked off by a complete twonk (or any city for that matter, India's probably a wee bit worse... ) Hope you're not feeling sore for too long x
