I normally get 135 to flashing light and about 160 to a tank. Recently with IAM training having me ride higher revs I've been getting nearer 130 to the tank. And yes, it has been more fun and felt much more in control too. Using the middle of the rev range as an average is much beter for control as you can slow without shifting and rev it out of corners a bit too, but it does use quite a bit more fuel. The engine suddenly feels a lot more buzzy riding like that too. Deacceleration from higher revs also sounds great.
