I think I might disagree with you on that one. I'm 6'3" with a slightly larger inseam than you and its the size of the bike that caused me to get rid of my SV. Don't get me wrong, I loved the bike, loved the engine, I had all the mods I wanted and had upgraded the suspension front and rear. I'd actually deliberately chosen a naked as it had higher bars and had forward pegs and a more upright rider position.
However, the longer I had it, the more the cramped up feeling started to annoy me and my hamstrings and knees would ache after an hour in the saddle. (maybe I'm getting old!) I swopped it for a Yamaha XSR900 which is roomier and more comfortable for my aging joints and muscles on longer trips.
When I was in the showroom looking at Yamahas, I put my leg over an AL7 and it felt like a kid's toy. I could practically get my knees down while sitting on it fully upright. Absolutely no way would I consider the newer model, which has an even lower seat height than my old K4.

I'm afraid I also disagree. But are you talking about the Naked version Drewski? I found that one more comfortable.
