Gizmo installed in about 10 minutes as putting the battery back on and servicing ready to ride again.

Easy to follow instructions and already had infills removed from taking the battery out. 30 mins tops I would think.

Mine took a lot longer to fit, nothing to do with the unit its self but rather my complete indecision on where to site it. Ended up under the cowl but even now I'm wondering if I might move it back to under the seat. It's tough being in my head😁

if your plugging things in and out then its best in the rear storage. if not then its best beside all the gubbins.

the best place i have seen it on a pointy is on the latch bracket which has a nice convenient hole for a bolt. its further back in the thread.

I need to fit a charger lead as well, presumably it makes sense to connect that via bullets to the Gizmo to avoid too many ring terminals on the battery itself. Does that make sense or is there a better way?

Don't think that will work as the Gizmo is only live when the ignition is switched on.

So connect the charging lead direct to the battery, that's what I've done, although I'm lucky, I've got a Motobatt, which has 2 sets of terminals.

Oh I'm an idiot, that's what they are for. I'm off to go crimp bullets on my charger leads!

before you go having another dumb moment and the wires from your charger are only black and black with stripe then identify the positive one and put a bit or tape on it for ID. read the instructions
