Long way round takes closer to an hour longer than over the top, done it in the car when the missus refused to back over the top, then again there was 1' of snow at the top, and my 405 Sri was wheel spinning and running wide, all the way up !!!

Applecross is 16th and 17th of August. Leave the GM on the Sunday on our heads are clear and ride up to Applecross.

Just tried to book in to the Inn and it is full!

So what is the score with accommodation as I don't want to camp or go in a wooden tent?

Ahh they do static caravans, that's great stayed there before. 3 day rent only from 16th £285. It has two bedrooms if another couple want to share with us?
