The keyless entry was not playing ball but my car started today and got a run out, so I could go for a walk. First time it's moved in over six weeks so I had my fingers firmly crossed when I pushed the Start button. What a relief.

Got a new rear tyre fitted to my bike, and then took it out for a bit of a ride/shopping for the for the first time in 6 weeks.
Was very nice to be back on it, and was certainly a change to using the bicycle/Car once a week to head to the shops.

Got the new rear tyre on the bike scrubbed in, gently of course. Was nice to be back out on it for the first time in a 8 weeks.
Hoping now that my trip for July will go ahead (delayed from June) . . . . .

reminds me of my Tefal experience with an actifry. just about to go out of warranty and it breaks. now we are talking a 5 year warranty. phoned them up and they said no problem sir. they sent a courier to pick it up for free and sorted it for free and sent it back fixed all for free.

it eventually bit the dust so got a new one and it lasted a few years until recently and with the lockdown i CNBA so threw it in the bin.

we are talking 10years worth of use out the two.

First ride of 2020 today, only about 40 miles - with new tyres to run in ( Avon Storm 3D ) they feel really nice - also replaced fork oil yesterday with Silkolene RSF10 maintain - happy days. Came back through Ironbridge ( Shropshire ) and there by the bridge were a group of bikers ( about a dozen bikes - many cruisers ) and the riders all standing in a group almost shoulder to shoulder.
