Recent MOT rules
just found out that any motorcycle over 40 years old does not need an MOT and i think road tax either. no wonder i have seen a load of old small classic bikes running about.

Re: Recent MOT rules
Yep the Cub has been tax free for a few years now - costs nothing to keep on the road, both bikes insured for £120, unfortunately Suzy's tax seems to go up year on year

Re: Recent MOT rules
I've heard if you choose not to MOT them and you have a crash, insurance can be a pain re. proving it was road legal/safe.
For the sake of £30 on an MOT per year, the guys I know with classics just get them tested. Good to see you're still about (and tinkering) Rictus
