Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa- Anybody here got them?
I know this should be in the tyre section but let's face it this might never be seen there. Search also isn't particularly friendly to this question.
Who has them and are they good enough in the wet? I've had a brand new set on some wheels for ages. I was going to track the bike but aren't now so I'd consider getting rid whilst they're still brand new in favour of something more road/touring biased. Thoughts please. |

Re: Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa- Anybody here got them?
I had them on the little gsxr, a great compromise tyre. Warmed up far quicker than the Corsa on previously and therefore great for road riding. In the wet they were far better than the Corsa that needs heat. Pity last tyre change they were out of stock and I had to put on an Angle ST. Not enjoying that.
So I guess the above says, a good sports/touring tyre. But there are better sports and better touring tyres. So a compromise

The Ducati came with the Pirellis and I agree with Elliott, no confidence in them. I've had them replaced with Dunlop SportSmarts but hav'nt had much chance to try those yet.
I had a set of Michelin Pilot Road 3's fitted to the SV though and they are excellent. Superb at a very cold, dry Snetterton a couple of weeks ago and great on road too, wet or dry. I'd say, sell the Pirellis and get some PR3's. |

Daytona 675 size. I think 120/70 and 180/55.
