Does an R6 handle better than an SV?
Hey Guys.
I need a little help unfortunatley the sv is soon to go and to be replaced by another bike. I've been looking at a 99-02 R6 but im just wondering will the chassis and suspension be better on the R6 than the SV or the other way round. I know this might seem trivial but handling is the major factor for me im not really bothered about looks or out right top speed just getting round corners quickly. Also I know there are better handling newer bikes but the choice is to do with what i can afford. also if any body can suggest a good handling 600 fron the same period i would appriciate it. any views and opinions greatly appreciated. Re: Anyone got an idea?
The R6 will be superior in terms of handling than your SV is.

Re: Anyone got an idea?
Unless its a really really well used R6 thats not been shown much attention, its gonna handle better than an SV. Unless the SV you are comparing it to has alot of suspension upgrades and light-weight wheels
The 99 - 02 R6 is quite a short bike (i.e. the stretch to the handlebars isnt long) compared to the SV, so it should also feel easier to handle. If you get one, I think you will enjoy it |

Re: Anyone got an idea?
The R6 will corner better unless it's totally f##ked.
Any supersport will work better. R6 one of the more aggressive. I'd have an SRAD.

R6 handling would be better than the SV, I'd put money on it. Although I somehow managed to lose one on a twisty stretch yesterday eve....
