S&WS Camping Weekend & Rideout

After a bit of discussion in Shanty Talk I've decided to put a pin in the proverbial donkey's a**.

The plan - a quick weekend away in June for a bit of a social with a rideout thrown in for good measure. ALL WELCOME

Details

Location: Chivenor (Braunton/Barnstaple), N.Devon.

Campsite: Chivenor Caravan Park

After a lot of smurfin and a few calls this seems to offer the best availability/value/location/facility mix. They are fine with groups, bikes (driven sensibly) and number of tents on a pitch (pitches are 7m x 7m). The owner also seemed the most accomodating and helpful of those that I spoke to.

£11/ngt, inc 2 people + car(bike)/tent. Extra person £1/ngt.

Rideout/Dates: The plan is to combine this weekend with the Somerset/Devon GP rideout. So get voting in that thread for the date that works for you. Voting closes at the end of the month (April). Rich and I have agreed that those camping will meet at Barnstaple circa 1pm (unless you want to get up early and meet the riding group @ Taunton, 11am). Date currently looks to be the w/e 6/7 of June.

AOB: Everyone will need to sort themselves out, i.e. booking the campsite.

A few of us have booked (in GREY below) and the site is pretty busy. The site owner says he can arrange something but we need to get in quick. He's not taking a deposit and its cash on arrival so no reason not to book now (01271 812217). Mention Richard and Motorcycles if booking and Andy (the campsite owner) will know what you're on about.

Lastly, I've updated the list below, but please add your name with your intentions if you're joining in. Should help to organise getting there, tents etc.
