Brands Hatch Indy on 20th August

I'd like to say I'm not that bothered, but well I sort of am. I was pleased with yesterday apart from locking up once into druids, where I changed down a bit too soon. Thought I was gone but managed to wrestle the bike round just in time.

Looks like you're getting closer so I reckon 3rd time lucky

I locked up the rear on my last day there - forget the names of the bends, is Druids the hairpin? Anyway I was coming down the hill from the hairpin and going into the left hand bend. I have a habit of putting the clutch in a little as I brake, bad habit cos it's enough to disengage it and then when I went to let it out to lean in, whoops, there the rear goes

Only a slight prob and the only one of my own making. Had another one on the 2nd left hand corner, leant right over and I must have gone over something cos the rear gave me a little wobble - boy I sat it up pretty quickly then lol!

My toes scraping the floor on a couple of corner made me sit up too...as did some c*ck going up the inside of me through druids (the hairpin).

...and yes I do need another trackday soon.

can i point out the c*ck was riding a 125 !!! and did you twice in druids !!!!!

Just remember 125's are light, brake really well and can be really chucked into the slower bends, which Druids is. Now if he'd done you into Paddock it would be another matter!

As for another trackday why not join me back at Brands on the 9th Sept......on the GP circuit. You know you want to....

I would love too, but it is my little boys first week at school and I've got to pick him up at lunch that week. Really want to do the gp circuit now too.

RH - I could drop him back to school in the afternoon and be in brands for 2, then I could relieve you of your first afternoon session allowing you to take a long lunch break - sound like a plan?
