Here is the finished product of waiting for 10 years for a hip replacement. Originally the accident happened when i was t-boned at a cross road, I had right of way but the driver in the vauxhall omega didn't agree at the time. this isn't ment to dissuade you lot for riding bikes, it just what can happen dispite taking all protective precautions. Ride safe, other people don't drive safe.

looks like the sacres, my dad has after having his hips resurfaced last year (right) and this year (left). hope all is going well so far and there isn't too much pain!!

The pain he has now is nothing compared to what hes put up with for all these years Chris. Think it was a matter of throwing him back together and hoping for the best, when he had his accident. This time it was to give him his life back, after all, walking with one leg shorter, being so young and being crippled with pain, kinda gave em opportunity to do a proper job. Apparently the old hip had worn so bad it was a really odd shape

Although, the wonky hipdom, never ever once stopped him riding, even after all the bumps since the big off! AND he can't wait til he gets back on either.....keeps prodding me to clean the Raptor for when he does!

Hope you`re recovering well, most people i`ve met who`ve had hip replacements always really happy that they`ve had it done. They say the most noticeable thing is that the previous pain that they`ve had for years disappears. Best of luck
