Courtney and Curtley would be cracking names for large cats!
I know, I had a cat called Malcolm for all of 5 minutes until I got him home, when I said 'You are now called Cromarty Cat'. He never ever answered to Malcolm again. I&P however both only come to those names.

Piggle has somehow lost his bottom incisor on the left. Vet has no idea how. Wonder if I can get him a gold crown. Gangsta Piggle.

Nearly a disaster.

Needed some cash so popped into the local Bargain Booze to use the cash machine and left the dog hooked up to the dog hook outside.

As I come out, 2 cyclist fly past with a high pitch whistling sound.

Jack is a very timid nervous dog and is scared of push bikes at the best of times, this time his reaction was to jumped onto the dwarf wall that separated the shop from next door and try to squeeze though the iron bars that topped it.

Well his head and shoulders had gone though but his backside couldn't.

So try to pull him out and his shoulders wedge tight.

So after 10 mins of struggle, I start to find non emergency number for fire brigade to cut/bend bar out of place, the poor dog is now panicking. As I have let go of him to use the phone his back legs fall off the wall and he drops down.

Doing this, his shoulder are stretched forward and I am now able to manipulate him out. A chap comes to my aid and between us we are able to get his head turned and out he comes.

So smile from me that after his stupid panic cause by the push bikes, he is non the worse for getting stuck. and I didn't have to look the fool calling out help for him.

That makes Iggle the idiot cat look quite smart. Glad your dog is OK. It makes you wonder why we have pets.

Jet decided to nosedive off the sofa yesterday, ended up with his head wedged between my knees (I was kneeling in front of the sofa stroking him), and his bum straight up in the air - tail wagging furiously. I've never seen a dog do a head stand before

I've spent the evening at the Royal Festival Hall. Africa Express with The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians. It was inspiring, beautiful, moving. All of the Syrian music which had an orchestra and choir was wonderful and I loved the Kora player from Mali who I've seen before. But there was another little highlight for me. Paul Weller and Damon Albarn performing this...

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without alcohol,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

Then you are probably the family dog!

Relaxed Family Dog - should be a picture here -
Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk way.

I might just well use this as my Instant Messenger tagline for a while and see if my boss notices. I've previously been told off for having "Eagles may soar high but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines" before now. It's currently set to "time you enjoy wasting is not a waste of time" which has been tolerated for a while...
