Default Spain vs Italy

Watc hing an Italian movie avec la Mrs, Im reminded how much I love the Mediteranean cities in France & Italy, ie Nice, Cannes, Barcelona, even Malaga ....im sure Italian towns like Naples and Genoa (?) would be equally exciting, great old town, shabby back streets, lots of little allys , cobbled streets and piazzas with cafes to sit out and eat & drink toil the small hrs, all in your t-s hirt....then im told that Barcelonas Ramblas has become like a no go zone, someone mrs knows had laptop and bag stolen because the waiters are in league with the theives.......can it be true ? Is Pedrosa still with us to comment ?

I said i prefer Italy to Spain cos of the rich culture , and they dont bullfight ! Ive only been to FLorence and Venice, whereas ive been to lots of Spain, so im saying this not because ive been all over either place, so i dk what im talking about really !

I do want to go to Valencia soon tho.....
