I've just finished a 7 day course of anti-biotics. When I picked up my prescription I was told I could either take them with or without food, so hopefully yours will be the same.

Mine didn't cause vomiting, but the diarrhoea is probably best not to mention in detail!

Not eating for a few days probably won't kill you, but you MUST try to keep your fluids up, even if you can only manage frequent sips of water.

Cheers for the replies there, Lissa and Richie.

- Richie were you suggesting i either had alchol poisining or i may get it?

Does how long you've been drinking for affect atall? I've spent pretty much the last 12 months getting on for 6 nights a week in the pub.

- Lissa i have to some level but with food tried what you said funnily enough, ate like 1 slice of bread with jam last night and was fine, had another 1 hour later didn't make me ill either time, so prehaps it's similair with me for the food, and on the advice i will try my hardest to keep my fluids up! :P thats the difficult part tbh trying to force water down hate it .

Join the AA--------SIX NIGHTS A WEEK FOR A YEAR in my opinion is well over the top and a drink dependency develops so easily when you are partaking on that scale.
By all means go to the pub with your mates if its your social life, but drink soft drinks.

Many moons ago when I split from my wife and the new found freedom I started doing exactly what you are doing---------consequence being a near enough alcoholic with a stomach ulcer------------seriously mate,be careful.I was 23 at the time

I am not trying to be derogatory or demeaning, just a bit of honest advice from experience.

On the lighter side-Definition of the Isle of Man-----a rock with 7000 drunks hanging on to it

Hey i don't mind being recommended anything atall DT, aslong as it's in a non-lecturing mannor and is deemed constructive. Will bare that in mind....

As for the rest of you .... i havn't come out of the closet now £(&£*(!O^*(! off!

AA being the other AA i assume? (took me a minute to work that one out).

Ed - they're poo! Can't even be bothered ringing them again as they don't know what your on about, and when your not feeling well already can't be bothered explaining why your cat got ran over once again to them, which has sweet FA to do with ones original problem. (p.s. i don't own a cat and never have).
