Default Slow Rev Limiter Bounce on K6

UPDATE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n-4...ature=youtu.be If played at 0.25 speed, the rev limiter kicks in at 11k, then revs drop slightly, then it revs straight up to over 12k. Something is up with my limiter but dont know what??

When the throttle is held open to redline, it bounces really slowly off the limiter compared to videos i've seen

Doesn't particularly feel like i'm down on power, 0-60 still good and will go up to 133mph+ indicated. Is it normal to be this slow?

Video of the bike bouncing off the limiter on full throttle:

Video of sv650 i compared to:

Pictures of throttle in closed position:

Picture of throttle in open position:

Bike is 2006 SV650S, about 18k miles, within last 2k changed air filter, spark plugs, oil, oil filter and did TPS adjustment, clutch adjustment at sprocket end along with pushrod adjustment

Why are you revving it that high? You are way beyond the powerband & simply thrashing the components for less power . . . .

I don't rev it that high when going through the gears, but i revved it at someone who pulled out on me and it seemed to bounce slow so i was wondering if it's normal or if theres something wrong which is causing it to be slow

If it's still performing well, then I don't think there's anything wrong. I've never hit the limiter on my K6 so I don't know what's 'normal' or not.

Doesn't sound or look right to me. It's going way too far in to the red. I wouldn't do that too often.

Just looked it up, apparently it should only be revving to about 11-11.5k before limiter kicks in? What could cause it to allow revs over that

So seems like the rev limiter not working properly being too slow to kick in, does anyone know how the rev limiter works so I can try troubleshoot it?
