Chrome it, paint it or wash it every day, thats the only way to keep it like that. Stop waisting your life and ride the bloody thing. I'm not saying don't clean it at all but why keep the downpipe shinny when the rest of the bikes going to rust due to suzuki famous build quality anyway

I'm planning on cleaning my brown stainless system up nicely, painting it and then leave it till next time

I use this stuff, its excellent. You spray it on the downpipe, wait a bit and then wipe away. Gives the same results as if you spent hours rubbing away with Autosol.

I don't get why everyone suggests autosol. You spend hours cleaning when you can just spray the Alloy Cleaner on and wait a bit.

Each to their own I guess.

One thing though, keep the Alloy cleaner stuff away from paintwork, its powerful stuff.

I splashed out on the Comma stuff yesterday and whilst it did help clean some of the down pipe it is nowhere near what it was expecting and mine wasn't nearly as bad as ED's.

That said it is much better, just needs a bit more work. Time for Autosol? anyone know any good stockists?
