Sorry bud, thought I'd hijack your thread rather than starting a new one.

If you click on User CP in the top left, you can unsubscribe from threads to stop you getting emails.

If you also go to Edit Options within the User CP and play with the settings under Messaging and Notifications, it will stop you from auto subscribing when posting.
