No Spark
650s(y)curvy no spark... had a look in the workshop manual... plugs ok, ignition coils passes test, pulse coil generator passes test.throttle position sensor passes test. anybody got any ideas or will i have to track down a CDI unit.

i had a similar problem with the last bike i owned a gilera nexus 500, it turned out it was something to do with the immobiliser that was fitted, so if your bike is fitted with an immobiliser it might be worth getting it checked out!

Earth to the ignition switch needs to see a resistance of 100ohm, manual doesn't say owt about this.

1st there is no immobiliser fitted so it can't be that. Thanks
2nd just raised the tank disconnected the connector took a Reading of 105. I'm thinking CDI or a break. . . . Thanks boys

There's me spotting zebras.
Aye, check for +12v at coil lives and ICU box connector with ignition on. If you have +12 there then the sidestand cutouts etc. are OK.

Could be a break in the wire supplying power to the coils and ICU box though.

If it's not the cdi then I'm either going to check every wire one at a time. Or torch the ******* ( in a Viking style type cremation)
