Morning all. Ridiculously mild outside here, and rain forecast for the day.

It's going to be a day mostly spent indoors I suspect as the council housing dept are coming to do a stock condition survey here. They're doing the survey over all of their housing stock and those of us who are members of the tenants scrutiny panel suggested that they run a trial survey on panel members houses first to iron out any issues before they embark on the main survey. It'll be interesting to see how the survey goes today, as it's very thorough and takes several hours to complete.

I still haven't managed to get out and clean the bike yet, but the weather is looking better for Sunday so hopefully I can do it then - just in time to get it dirty again on the ride over to Newtown for a meeting on Wednesday!

How's the weekend looking for you all?

Nothing definite planned for the weekend, it'll depend on the weather I think

I need to wander off to the post office tomorrow to drop off my old broadband router that BT have asked to be returned. Looks like I'll be getting very wet in the process...

Forecast is much better here too for Sunday so my (hopefully by now) dry bike will get a coating of ACF50.

Morning all. Heading off out for an early walk with a friend this morning. Should be perfect weather for walking too, cold and clear. Forecast is good for the day, so I may finally be able to get the bike out and give it a clean.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

Ha! Despite the forecast the first half of my morning walk was in the rain, albeit fairly light rain. It cleared up on the way back and the weather held long enough to get out and clean the bike. I think I shall lift the tank tomorrow and and give the connector blocks a squirt of contact cleaner and a few drops of ACF50. Fortunately I have a decent dry area under the overhang where the bike lives to do that job, as the forecast is for heavy rain all day.

Got myself covered in as much ACF50 as Bullseye this morning... I'll get another diffusing spray bottle before next year's application I think!

Nice walk through the local woods with Lady Poppy this afternoon but it was getting pretty chilly by the time we got back, so fished out the Christmas decs from the loft instead of more winter pruning in the garden. Don't worry - as it is still November Lady Poppy very grudgingly agreed to wait until tomorrow before putting any of the decorations up.

Just as well there Trevor. For every Christmas decoration that goes up before December, an elf strangles a baby reindeer!

Trev, the thickness of ACF just doesn't work in a spray/diffuser. I pour the ACF into a bowl, and apply it with a paintbrush. Finish off with a good spray of GT85 on the hard to reach places.
