Best place to buy a new battery? - SV650.org

hello boys n girls

Now before we go thru the round window today and see what Big Ted is up to, can any of you boys n girls recommend a good place to get a battery from?

And let me know if you would suggest Gel or Acid types and why please.

Then we can all snuggle round, listen to a nice story and have a little nap. Wont that be nice?

I used http://www.thefastone.co.uk. Price for genuine Yasua batteries is very good, and delivery was next day. Yes you can buy noname cheaper elsewhere but is it worth if for an extra tenner. BTW Halfwits are bloody expensive for bike batteries.

Even gel ones come with an acid pack you need to add before fitting.

Adding the acid is simple, each bottle is sealed with foil. Only by inserting the pack into the battey and pushing down will the seal be broken. leave it a minimum of 20 mins before removing bottles and sealing.

But i also prefer not to give my money to halfwits. Actualy i didnt know they sold bike batts but now i do.

I need to be sure its the battery not holding a charge and not something else first tho.

Any advice on how to do that anyone?
