Default Best way to uprate headlamps

Hi guys

I must say the SV lamps are ****e, I cant see a lot in the dark without full beams on. I've tried making them higher but this really doesnt work. I've tried better xenon bulbs, but they're just rubbish. So whats the best way to upgrade the lights so I can actually see?

Ta

Jake

try some of the halfods rally bulbs. out of the whole collection they do they are by far the best ones. they arent intended for road use but they are very good. other than those osram bulbs are very good. the white light ones are brilliant

Just be sure that whatever bulbs you get they dont exceed 55/60w or else you might melt the harness

Jake do you have a curvy? ( can't tell from your avatar) cos I don't find the pointy ones too bad?

I've always thought the pointy lamp was quite good. However, coming home last night the traffic was awful so I went for the backlane route. Because of the rain parts were like riding along a river and there was lots of debris. I was struggling to pick out the gravel and mud on the road. I think this is more due to the road dirt that had covered the headlamp lens by this point but I was wishing the lamp was brighter to compensate!

I don't find the pointy ones too bad, but they should invent self levelling headlights for bikes.

I changed mine for the brightest legal ones that halfords had. Same in the car, they are better.
