Default Sat over the winter

I currently own an 04 sv650, I let it sit over the winter now it won't run. I've replaced the Batt, and the plugs still nothing. Took it to the dealer they said it could possibly be injector related, 50/50 chance and almost $1000. Not good odds! Any advise? Or help? Thanks

1st bit of advice your dealers are f###ing useless.

Has it got a spark and is it fuelling? Are the plugs wet? Does the fuel pump prime?

Follow Chris' advice above, he appears to be good at this stuff!

I'm currently at work but get home a little after two. I'll check those things out when I get home. Have you ever come across this before? If so what was the issue?

Checked it out, fuel pump primes, and has spark. Now what?! I really dont want to take it to the dealer if I dont have to!

So it's cranking over OK?

Is it firing? popping and banging?

Is the FI light on?

It does crank over fine. Could the injectors be clogged?
