Wee Run this weekend
Who's up for a wee run (starting Kinross services), then going up to Dundee, to Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie. Up to Bridge of Cally then to Pitlochry, Aberfeldy and down to the Dukes. Home via Aberfoyle and Balloch A811??
Bit of a trek going from east to west but would be a crackin day out... Maybe sunday leave Kinross services 9:30am?? Get a long run before the councils start spreading dreaded salt all over the roads. |

I've too many catch up chores to do this saturday (i.e tomorrow). Weather is to be great all weekend so will be doing this run on Sunday.
Stuartyboy -don't get too pished on Saturday, go home and drink ****loads of water and coffee. Grab a couple of hours sleep, then drink Irn-Bru (Not the diet crap) the rest of the day. A cooked breakfast works wonders too drowned with 2 cups of coffee. I'll be leaving Kinross services at 9:30 to 10am. Plenty of time to beat the tourists gawking at the scenery..... The trip distance from Kinross to Balloch going my dukes of hazzard route is 165 miles. Add on your own travel time from Glasgow and we'll be looking at a average 300miles round. Stopping for a bite to eat in touristville Pitlochry for a chippie. You don't pay for bikes over the Tay Bridge Cagers have to pay coming from Dundee going down into Fife. Going the other way its a free for all for everybody. All aboard welcome |
