Red face Problems

Any one else had probs with backfire and one of the cylinders not firing correct i think.

is possible water getting into fuel tank ??
been told there might be a weak spark on the back cylinder causing the back fire??

Can anyone help???

Not having owned an SV, but have ridden with quite a few....

I thought that was just part of the charm of the bike

Edzakery, me thinks he is referring to the normal sort of popping if he has a carb and not 100% tuned. And a "back fire" is not THAT. That's when it fires back through the intake ports and back through the carbs............. which is more of a timming problem if I can remember back to my greasy youth

If you give us a little more info on the bike (what year, etc) and the problem (when it occurs, etc) someone on here should be able to help and make you a Happy SV Owner once again.
