My HD is full
Been editing some vids I took on the SV at rockingham yesterday ... and transferring the raw files (raw/uncompressed vids too take up a fair bit of room) "computer said no" ... my HD was FULL!!
 ... its a 250gb drive ... which by todays standards is nothing special, but I was still surprised to see I had filled it up ...  So rather than decide what to delete (I was loathed to delete off old/past videos, even the duplicate/edited ones) so I bought a new HD!!  .. HDs are so cheap these days it is unreal Anyone else do the same thing, or do people have a good spring clean every once in a while???  Oh and no, its not all p0rn clogging it up (I know what you lot are like!!  )!

I did the same, but only to free up the drive on my PC. Everything stored on an 500gb external hard drive. Oh and mine ain't prawn either.

1st col is drive size, 2nd amount used, 3rd Amount free, 4th is %age used and the last what its used for. 466G 404G 63G 87% /filestore 932G 569G 363G 62% /videostore 190G 134G 56G 71% /musicstore 280G 80G 200G 29% /tempstore 466G 379G 88G 82% /gamestore

3 Hard Drives totalling 1000GB over 6 partitions at about 80% full. I blame my bullet camera recordings and Windows Media Center recording TV programs in a uncompressed format.
I'm currently eyeing up a 1TB internal HD to take my total to 1.9TB, cannot have too much space.
