Default T-Shirt & Shorts

Why do some bikers think t-shirts and shorts are cool?
They not only look stupid they clearly are stupid.
We all know who will have the last laugh, albeit a sweaty one.
Id rather be sweaty and ride again eh..

Mesh jacket with armour. As cool as you like. Not expensive.

It always makes me cringe when I see riders wearing t-shirts, and you quite often see a pillion with the same amount of protection too.

Its another personal choice issue. If they want to do it I have no problem with that, but you won't find me doing it.

The only time I ride without any protection is when I turn the bike around outside my house and back it down the drive.

or guys in jeans and leather jackets with a hot girl in a bikini on the back. It'd be such a waste- ouch!

+1 much safer than a t-shirt, not noticeably any warmer. I'd not to any motorway trips on it (negligible abbrasion resistance), but for shorter/slower trips in hot weather I think they're ideal.

There was a time when everyone wore jeans and a leather (or denim!) jacket , nobody had CE armour, only riders with race reps had leather race suits and they were all poofs trying to copy the racers, and the colour schemes were as bad as the bikes. Only grown men over the age of 35 and police wore leather trousers.

Of course a hot bikini girl on the back was commonplace too

I couldn't afford leather trousers when I was a teenager, 250 quid for leather bikers jacket, gloves and a cheap lid was bad enough. 10 weeks money off a Saturday job. I still ride in jeans in the summer quite a lot.

I wouldn't ride in T shirt and shorts, I have ridden in a T shirt when I was younger, wouldn't do it now, but it's a personal choice. Get over it.

I, decide what I wear on a bike and adjust my riding accordingly.

You say I'm stupid, I say you're a fascist
