I am interested in purchasing new fork springs for my 2000 SV650S, along with front preload caps. What is the best price you can do for me, including postage to Birmingham?

Many Thanks,

This seems a little expensive. I understand that you used to supply springs, spacers, shims and preload caps for £124.20. I know that you sell Ohlins springs for £70, what else comes with the kit?

Thanks.

Time goes on and price increases take place.

I understand that prices can increase, but they don't seem to be bothered at all to explain to me what I'm getting for my money. Maybe I should not bother with them at all. They are selling Ohlins progressive springs for £70, all I want to know is what the extra £27 is for. Tossers.

Just ignore them then. Your email looks reasonable, and I hate rude people, so take your business elsewhere?

Try Steve Jordan M/C's Official Ohlins supplier, top suspension guru recomended by many of the Bemsee racers.

Ages back, I was looking to buy their Stage 2 jet kit- it's a great product IMO, but at the time he wouldn't sell the filter seperately. I'd basically said that I'd take one, if he could guarantee filter availability in the future in the event the standard one got damaged (thinking of contamination, foreign object damage, maybe accidental damage. His response was "IF YOU ARE THAT HAMFISTED I DO NOT RECOMMEND FITMENT OF THE KIT". That's really professional.

If you SPEAK to JHS you'll find that they are more responsive. It's a small business and he probably doesn't have time to "chat" on email. I'm not sticking up for him, but I had a similar experience and found they were much better when you actually spoke to them.

He does read the .org. Also Visordown and probably SV Rider. I know this because he sent me an unpleasant PM on here once after I dared to criticise him on Visordown

Well clearly he is too rich if he blatantly makes people take their custom elsewhere!

PMSL. I have to ask and why ?.... You think he is going to loose sleep over an email .

In as much as I have had experience of James having an 'off' day/his unique sense of humour(as do eveyone) I agree totally with Jelster.

Personally I sometimes fail to understand this email malarky. I would have rang myself in the first place.

All told JHS is probably know there way around the SVs' better than anyone else.

Cheers
Ben
