Mechanical gremlin mysrtery
Lovely ride to Rye yesterday with my mate - CBR600F and his mate - 04 Daytona 600. Rode the M2 to J2 then headed south, we soon went wrong and kept going wrong all the way to Rye ...found some lovely countyrside and places - Billenden ? - but roads were slow and lots of going thru villages at 30. So we are almost there , in Peasmarsh , whne CBR Dave disappears out of the mirrors. Turns out its blown the cap off the spark plug. He first thought he'd dropped a valve, but passerby advised it wasnt that...he rode homw on 3, i went shotgun in case, but seemed ok so he cut me loose and I got home just before dark, he got home at midnight (thats called "nursing it"! )
