Looking at the weather forcast 3 layers of waterproofs.
I'm not even sure I'm going to make it. Being soaked for 3 days solid, well that don't really set the pulse racing. |

Re: Recommend me.... The right clothing for the AE
I appreciate teh support and offers. Belive me if it were just a case of tough out 24 hours riding in the wet whilst wet I'd do it.
I have a couple of other things to consider though. a) bike running problems - hope to fit a fenda extenda tonight - also get hold of some silcon grease tomorrow. b) Being in wet biking gear for 3 days would be rubbish (as said above) c) The news and teh forecasts are very gloomy - I'm genuine concerned at the safety and viabilty of all this. No good getting there and finding all the roads closed. We are headed for the worst affected area of the country and no one seems to acknowldge this or be discussing it. |

Re: Recommend me.... The right clothing for the AE
I am noticing and acknowledging it, but if we all keep safe and dont do nothing stupid then there is nothing to be worried about, and from what i can gather anyone doing silly things will be TOLD . If you wear waterproof everything, then there will be no problems TBH yes you may get a bit wet, but the fun will be worth it. As for your bike I think someone has posted that they will be bringing the front cylinder seal(or summit), but is a good idea to get a fenda extenda for the weekend.
