Ignition Controlled Terminal behind Dials
Having had the battery go flat on me a couple of times without any easily identified cause I've become a bit paranoid about it happening again. I've even taken to carrying my volt meter around with me so I can do a quick check.
It takes the whole edge off riding the bike. So, I tracked down a LED voltage meter and want to hook it up to an ignition controlled source. A quick glance should make me Is there an easy terminal there or do I need to take a wire back to the fuses? Cheers Tris |

It would be best to take it back to the fuse box. On the curveys there is a fat yellow wire from the fuse terminal which is switched.
I think on a twin you need more amps than the voltage for cranking the engine over.

There you go.
http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=metric&ci=2695 I got the black one and it looks fine only about 4mm long by 20mm wide. The postage & tax were a bit steep, but got it from the sates in 3 days!! Tris |
