Default Huggers - Where did you get yours from

I've ordered a Carbon Hugger for the GSXR from Evoultion Composites. They've sent me two now and neither of them fit. ( They both rub the back wheel and dont fit flush with the swingarm )

I'm going to give them one more chance to sort it and then I'm asking for my money back.

I've been looking around to see where else I can get one from. I've got a NWS Hugger on the SV but they dont make one for a K5 GSXR 750. I've seen a pyramid carbon fibre hugger for the GSXR and that looks quite good and also it goes down behind the swing arm and covers the bottom of the shock which I think is a good idea.

Anybody else got any recommendations. I really want a proper Carbon Fibre hugger not a fake carbon one or a colour matched one.

Although a lot of their stuff is pretty pap, Powerbronze seem to do decent huggers so long as you stick with the resin ones as their pain finish seems to chip away.

Yeah but Clogsy how long did you have to wait for it

Red Fox and Powerbronze dont make a carbon hugger for my bike so they are no good either.

Pyramid seem to do one, although the website suggests they're currently out of stock.

The site does suggest, however, that the hugger is the same as the 600 one?

To hug, or not to hug

Tried a Pyramid one for mine, but it didn't fit
The naked thou has a different length swingarm to the 'S' model, and the screw mounts are in different positions. It looks however that my bike has a 'N' length swingarm, with the screw mounts in the 'S' position

To be honest, with the toolbox container where it is, and the rubber flap that covers the rear shock, I don't think a hugger would have any practical effect

So I gave up on the idea of a hugger . . .

I has a suzuki one, and its crap...it broke every mounting point on the hugger, and BBC's one is going the same way.

Have a look at Freestreetdesigns, and see if they have one for your bike.

also, give Renegade a call. They used to/still do carbon huggers etc for various machines, might be worth a try 01474852255
