Sun is now out here too Bibs, and it's warmer than yesterday. Forecast for tomorrow is pretty vile though, some serious rain headed our way.

Eve'nin Organs. Might start drinking a bit earlier than usual tonight. Just back from the bicycle shop after they called to say the e-bikes Lady Poppy and I ordered would be delivered a bit later than the manufacturer quoted. Turns out Volt have been told by Shimano their crank motors are out of stock and they may not get any more until Q4 2022... That would be a wait of over 18 months!! So we got our deposit back without any issue, thankfully, and we'll be going for a different brand. The equivalent Raleigh is out of stock and will open for pre-orders again in Q1 next year (according to the rep the shop called for us) so it looks like we may get one in time for mid spring next year. Hopefully....

Where did I put the corkscrew?

Morning Gary, any progress on your knee?

I had a very pleasant (and chilly) ride to the Ponderosa, then to Ruthin via the Nant-y-Garth pass and home yesterday. About 20 other bikes there, 3 of which were RE Interceptors. The owners I've chatted to absolutely love them. Not my cup of tea but they are a handsome machine. RE have obviously got the recipe right.

Hi Craig. Knee still swollen, waiting for the x-ray results, wearing.a runners knee compression sleeve at the moment which is helping.

Definitely cooler October weather now. Were there many at the Ponderosa?

About 20 or so bikes (at 10:30am). Many riders were risking furred arteries with the breakfasts

I overheard a group of riders talking about it being their last ride of the year. Not quite at that stage yet. I like to keep my bike in ready-to-go condition for the occasional days when it's dry and above freezing.
