Sticky choke :(
Hello
When starting the bike this morning, everything was fine until I've tried to close the choke and head off. The choke was suck and the revs stayed at 2k5. I've decided to ride anyway and after a few hundred meters I had to stop at the lights & everything was back to normal. What can/should be done to prevent this from happening again? Was my heading off a good idea? Cheers |

Re: Sticky choke :(
Do a search on carbs, there was a thread about carb/choke/throttle cleaning a couple of months back.

Re: Sticky choke :(
you either need to oil yer choke cable or grease the choke plungers I'd have thought - or just live with it, my winter bike has a very erattic choke, i've just learnt to use it as is until summer when I give her a good clean.
