I am about to purchase a decent set of allen keys for working on my SV can someone confirm that i require Metric Allen keys over Imperial Allen Keys?

Metric.

Everything barring the tyre pressures, fuel consumption, 0-60 times, wheels and chain, are metric on an Sv.

Metric for sure - Second on the hex sockets but make sure you get a 3/8 - 1/4 adaptor for your ratchet.

The Japanese use the Metric system, if you want to buy imperial allen keys you should have bought a Hardly-Davison.

Yeah an excellent way to end up confused to buggery in a massive pile of various BS and whitworth taps and dies when you need to fix something!

I'd advise some of the 10mm drive hex bits. Really miles ahead of any allen key as you can get a proper ratchet or Tbar onto them.
