I spent a few minutes with an eBay 32mm deep socket and my grinder and Dremel and made a socket for the steering stem nuts:

Not motorcycle related

Removed OEM car stereo from new car, took my stereo out of my car that's going. Put my stereo in my new car, put OEM stereo in my old car. Clear?

Taxed and insured my new car.

Scrubbed my brake discs with a wire brush and brake cleaner to remove corrosion on the rivets. Are they steel or aluminium on the stock discs?

I can only speak for my Curvy which are Steel.

Also when I service my brakes a polish off any corrosion on the,"Float Pins" with some 500 grit paper and then polish them with Autosol Metal polish and then lube with grease(I have some of the old-school Red lithium brake grease).

I do this as I got a little bit of low speed Brake-grab and having had it before on bikes I knew the cause and fix.

Cleaned my calipers for the N th effing time after riding through the winter and changed the brake fluid and bleed nipples for some s/s ones. Everything went to plan!! No sheared off bolts or endless bleeding... has my luck changed? or am I about to grab a handful of nothing and plough through a hedge? Or do I just need to cheer the hell up and accept some good fortune.

Semi-stripped! Took out pads and cleaned pistons, seals and pins and springs in February and have washed them thoroughly with muc off every fortnight. Wheels spin freely...

dont wash calipers especially with a jet wash or with cleaners such as degreasers. all you are doing is removing the protective grease. if anything remove callipers and apply more RRG to the pistons surface as they move out with pad wear.

properly stripped and assembled with RRG callipers will last years before needing done again.

the muppets that you see on youtube cleaning callipers by spraying brake cleaner on the seals and pistons are just that.. muppets who dont know what they are doing.
