Geez mate, glad you bounced again. Ive had similar close calls like that but been lucky enough to see ahead a little sooner than you did and wang over into the middle lane. Sometimes all the forward observation in the world cant avoid this type of thing happening.

A friend of mine had a smiliar situation...cos the van in front just slammed on his brakes to avoid running over a football of all bloody things and BANG, what the hell can you do?
