Newbie Introduction - SV650.org

Hi all !!

Thought I'd post a short intro as I've just joined this forum.

The name is Jonathan, I am lucky enough to own 2 bikes - a VFR 800 for everyday use - but more importantly as far as this forum goes, an SV 1000 N as a 'shiny bike'.

I'm 40 (but PLEASE don't hold it against me) - & I didn't get my bikes as part of a mid-life crisis !!!! (haven't quite worked out what I'm gonna do about that yet)

I'm a fairly active member of the Bandit & SV Owners Club - it was whilst on the club stand at Beaulieu this last weekend that I found myself talking to some forum members who told me to check you out - so you can blame them for my presence here - (Tee Jey was one & the other's name I can't remember (sorry mate !!) - but if I mention that he bought a 650 8 months ago & has put 15 000 miles on the clock already I'm sure that one of you will know who he is.

The plan when I bought the 'Thou' was to spend a year doing it up as a real nice one-off 'fighter' (no production bike can ever be a true 'fighter I know) - however, the other (many say better) half decided to produce twins (what else from a V Twin rider ??!!!) earlier this year so the 1 year has plan has been stretched by 2 or 3 years !!

Anyway, hope to meet some of you soon at The Barge.
