Default In need of a cheap intercom.

alright guys and gals

i will be attending the rescue ride on the 20th of September with my girl friend on the back and i would like to get an intercom for the event.

id like it to be relatively cheap but i want it to work!
if a cheap but well working intercom exists, id really appreciate some help finding one for me.

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

thanks for your help in advance.

I posted a similar post a while back and everybody told me not to get cheap as they are rubbish and buy autocom, well, i did and its very good.
Me and the wife went down to evesham yesterday on the bike at all speeds and the clarity wasnt affected regardless of speed.
My only gripe with autocom is the fiddly headset you have to install in your lid.
Sticky velco onto the lining in your lid, earphones attach to that, very difficult trying to line it up perfectly with my ears.
They keep coming loose when putting on or removing lid so thats a bit annoying but apart from that brilliant.

Why spoil a nice ride by letting the mrs moan in your ear all day?!

Joking apart, it has made mrs specialone more relaxed on the bike cos i can tell her when im gonna be accelerating quicker than normal etc and she can tell me she needs to shift her ass around because of numbness and im not having the back end wobble on me unexpectedly.

My Mrs spoils a good ride sometimes and sticks her @rse on the back.
If I'm going to be pulling away a bit quick I just quickly touch her thigh.
Job done.
Every now and again I'll touch her knee and she will squeeze a bit harder with her thighs to let me know shes ok.
If she needs to stop for anyreason she will tap my hip.
Why bother with the extra cost?
I guess it would be different if it was touring europe for days on end but once you get used to eachother on a bike, you dont need to talk.
