Traveling between the Fox & Grapes and the A64/ A1 roundabout just out of Leeds yesterday I noticed the middle of the road had been patched with tarmac. It looked like they'd used the 'spread cold butter on bread' method. It looked a right mess.

I wanted to pass a car but there was no way I was going to ride over it. Godness knows what it'll be like with a bit of water on it.

Anyone ever gone around the big roundabout at Tingley, Leeds? It has larger trenches that those dug in WW1

Oh yes, my bike tax is due - what do I pay it for?

Civil service pensions.
And public transport, according to some f#ckpigs survey, we should pay for that, even though we have more sense than to use it.
