Default EXCEL Show.

Spent a very nice day yesterday at the Excel show in London, kicking the tyres and sitting on everything in sight resurching my next bike. Following a quest of some six hours in duration concluded that I already have the best value all round package in the form of the SV 650 L7. OK then, will have a look again next year.

My mate went Friday - reckoned the Triumph 765 looks good, but pricey

That description was applicable to a lot of stuff.

Was there much there? Last time I heard anything the number and variety of exhibitors was not great so I've kept away, but it may have improved a lot since then.

To be fair if I were 20 years old then it would have been like a kid in Santa's grotto. I went with my son who wanted to go and as any father knows it's a great privilege to have father and son time as one gets a little older. But away from that, I really resent being charged for someone to have the opportunity to sell me something. So in short, give it and it's like a wide berth.
