Default Tyres and forks

Never rains but pours. On the way into town this afternoon I noticed a small amount of fork oil on top of the left hand dust seal, and then the back end of my curvy was all over the place coming home. Got it on the paddock stand and pulled a four inch nail out of the rear tyre.
Fortunately the tyres are due for replacement and I have a nice new set of Diablo Stradas sitting in the garage waiting to be fitted. Went online and ordered new seals and a litre of 10w fork oil from Wemoto.
Should keep me busy for a few hours......

had a similar experience a week ago, picked up a builders nail in the outer edge of tyre and it shredded my rear hugger and broke the rear mounting bolt hole so £30 for a proper repair and down £90 on the pyramid hugger....

Suggest doing the bushes as well as seals while you're there. Worn bushes give the seals a harder time.
