Hopefully there'll be a nice double garage with ceramic tiles, a stainless steel mega bench and matching storage, and lots of numberplates on the wall along any minute.

Good question and would be interested to see the answers. Most of the front end supports that I've seen take the weight either on the ends of the forks, or on the lower yoke. I must admit I can't remember how I supported the from when I did the steering bearings.

there is a hole that runs all the way through the engine block at the front. if you put a rod in there you can put axle stands under it.

or get an abba stand with the front end lift attachment.

i built a cradle using a scissor jack that fits the front engine block hole. it was ok but not as good as axle stands.

X2 for the ABBA Stand with front lift attachment. No cobblers in the way while you are working.

...photo****it does not work...

...I have made progress...

...I will be putting the stock bike back on the road after all and riding the old tires to the cords...

...I am learning how to do this build from watching you tubes and reading stuff here, and one thing I see is important is having a proper shop set up to work in...

...as one can see we are a ways from accomplishing that here...

..you tube taught me how to fix the clogged tank with five gallons of vinegar and a pressure washer and the tank is off and soaking in vinegar as I type this...

...I had planned on doing the conversions after the season but rust clogged up the fuel pump...

...it has been a ****er trying to do the work outside...I will certainly set up some sort of shop before doing more than repairs...

...the before and after shots should be extreme...
