scottoiler oils
hi can anyone tell me what grade oil is used in the scottoiler as io thought you could just top it up with 10w 40 oil or 10w 40 semi s engine oils many thanks for your opinions .

Lots of folks use old engine oil in their scottys, so new oil will be fine - the cheapest you can find! I'm still using the proper Scottoil though.

I cant see the economic sense in buying new engine oil to put into an oiler. Mind you I havent worked how it compares per litre with the scotoiler oil.
I know one thing. The Scotoiler stuff is much much easier to clean off your wheels the engine oil is...
