Default Headlight protectors

Alrighteee.

I know a coloured headlight protector would be illegal to use at night (obviously) but what about during the day ?

Cheers...

depends what colour they are, clear and yellow are the only legal colours you can use day or night.

Plus, you can't ever have blue light, or red light facing forwards, for pretty obvious reasons.

Skidmarx used to do 'em for both models, I think Pyramid Plastics do as well.

Clear & yellow only...

I got a tug for running an amber coloured lens cover, and any other colour is a nick as well. Please, don't put a blue one on. the old bill have a big problem with people showing blue lights at the front of a vehicle.

In the daytime your lights must work "properly" when they are on, so if you have a Mk2 bike wihere the lights are always on, you could be in trouble.

On saying that, I ran the amber cover on my GSXR for 12 months and only got pulled over for it once. Even then the copper said "If you put it back on round the corner I'm not to know, am I ?"

So, you pays yer money......
