Re: Big ride out
"Hello LyleJ, im coming" lol,
On another note, with this being pinned, I think it gets less viewing. I know I often over look items that have been pinned.

Re: Big ride out
Saying that tho, i think the easiest thing to do is fully plan the route with stops and everything incorporated then poll a date..

Re: Big ride out
would recomend that you stick to roads you Know for your route and google has a good feature in the maps part for planning routes

As Smudge says, roads you know might be best unless they are all major A roads. Roads should be getting a bit quieter as autumn sets in. |

Re: Big ride out
i think this will be the Easiest way to get this to happen so thats what ill do, so as of now the BIG ride out is not happening on the 22nd
what i will do is plan step by step and post updates over the next couple of weeks then poll a date. Litrally any ideas or suggestions would be great folks.. so please dont be shy im looking from Matlock to Skegness ( A - B ) and the route between is where it all happens. |

Re: Big ride out
If you want a break from main roads, turn off at Wragby (or at Baumber) from the A158 for Bardney. Once you get to Bardney, head towards Horncastle, this puts you back on the A158.These roads are fairly twisty and mostly well surfaced. Been round there today actually.
