Re: Hypermotard 1100 Evo
Ah no you have me confused with G or Graeme.
He had the Hyper at the same time as me. We used to rag them around the Leicestershire Countryside. Yeah G went for the Repsol after a 2 year break. I stuck with track days until it became clear I needed tosave more money for a house...and then my son came along too so funds and time are non existent at the moment to make any return to biking.

Re: Hypermotard 1100 Evo
Nice! I have a 2008 s, it is my favorite ride! I had been taking it to the track in an effort to try and keep my license. It really is a blast, although my last session on it I threw it down the road at about 80mph. Bike and rider survived with just a few rashes I bought my SV track bike as it's cheaper to fix, and I hope it will help improve my track riding as it is a bit more manageable than the Hyper.

Re: Hypermotard 1100 Evo
ooooo speirs get an 899!!!
and good choice on the bike scoobs... when I think back to the test rides I had more fun on the 796. Because it was smaller and lighter your could throw it around more, and because it was shorter I could scrape my knee still... could never do that on the 1100 Yeah I bought a fireblade after a couple of years off, doesn't get used anywhere near enough

Re: Hypermotard 1100 Evo
How are you getting on with the Hyper? I test ride a Hyperstrada today and it was awesome. I am tempted to make the change from my Blade so similar to you coming from an R1, do you miss having a sports bike yet?
