2 New additions to the family
Hi everyone,
Been a busy week as you will find out by reading on I became a father for the first time to a beautiful baby girl on 19th June which was by far the happiest day of my life! Something that will live with me forever and has definitely changed my views on life! Certainly keeping me busy but sadly I am back to work tomorrow which will be very hard And the second addition is a 1999 Curvy SV650S with Lower fairings in Yellow that I picked up yesterday. The bike has ,miles on it which is validated with EVERY MOT the bike has had to date. Justa few scatches and small bits of crash damage from a low speed spill. Clutch needs adjusting (hoping it doesn't need to be changed!) but other than that ready to ride. I will put some pictures up in the next few weeks. A mate rode it back for me and I had a quick go and so glad I chose the SV! Very smooth and perfect for me having passed my test in Feb. I however won't be out on it for a bit as the little one is taking up all my time at the minute! Hope to see you all soon on rideouts and def looking at coming to the annual rideout next year. Rich |

I can only congratulate you on the baby... sadly not the Curvy.

Congrats on the new arrivals. My wife gave birth to our second son last thursday so I share your sleep deprived euphoria
Enjoy both! |

Thanks
I know there is a split on Curvies and Pointies in the forum (as well as the triumph group.... ). There are 2 reasons for me getting a curvy: 1. Finances wouldn't stretch to a pointy 2. I actually prefer the fully faired look of the curvy. Prob due to me loving the 250 shape aprillia which is very curvy Rich Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 |

congratulations on both counts. strange most folk get rid of the bike when a baby comes along but i suppose you'll need it for the stress relief

You don't need to justify your poor choice to us.
