2003 Copper Sv650s Pointy for sale

Here we have my 2003 Copper colored Suzuki Sv650s for sale with 22,885 on the clock.

There are several extras on the bike including:
A body colored belly pan and rear hugger
Oxford hot grips
K&N air filter
MTC 'doma end' exhaust with removal baffle
Changed seat covers
Braided hoses and crash bobbins.
Alpha Dot security

It has full service history (inclusive of valves last full service - September 2012) and all MOTs with no advisories on them. It has had a new back tyre (250 miles ago) and there is plenty of life in the front tyre. The body work is in excellent condition apart from a tiny scratch on the RHS on the upper part of the fairing where someone must have parked to close and scraped it with their handlebars.
It has a cosmetic issue at the moment but with a bit of tlc it will be right as rain. The issue being that the indicators have suddenly stopped working and I have changed the indicator relay and the fuses and they still don’t work. After riding it in the rain last week the bike is now also not idling properly and cuts out, this is beyond my bike knowledge to know how to fix.
It’s a shame to see it go as it rode perfectly before this sudden issue and hopefully it could go to a new home where they have more ‘know-how’ than I do. Would make a great bike to fix for road or as a track bike.
Due to the idling issue I will put the bike as a non-runner(even tho with a slight fix probably it would fine like it was before) to which I have reduced the price to reflect this. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with the bike and i have all previous paperwork to show no finance. There are also both keys for the bike.

M.O.T due September 2013 and Tax Runs out September 2013.

sounds like water in your front plug, very common with the sv's and an easy fix. Seems a shame to lose a load of money on a clean bike like that for such a simple problem

Does sound like a couple of fairly easy fixes. A cheap bike for somewhere there though.

It has happened once before and as i ride in all weathers i don't want to be wary of it raining and me riding in the wet. Luckily i wanted a new bike anyway so this will give me some funds towards a new one. Shame to see it go as i had a blast riding it and hopefully it will be as good to someone else as it has been to me....

It's easy to stop happening again. Fender extender and coat the threads of the front spark plug in high temp grease. Indicators could be the handlebar switch which can be had for not a lot of money on ebay, make sure the wiring and plug for this is fine first.

This bike is a simple fix and you can be talked through the repairs by the people on here.

I might still have one of the little rubber flaps that hangs from the radiator to help stop the water problem, I'll have a look.
